The Crowley’s Ridge Amateur Radio Club started in 1954 as the Jonesboro Amateur Radio Club, located in Jonesboro, AR.  The JARC had flourished for decades but as with many clubs they had a lost most of it’s membership. In 2017, a group of local amateur radio operators took on the challenge of insuring the continuation of the JARC.  In 2019 the name was changed to Crowley’s Ridge Amateur Radio Club and is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity organization .
